We’re counting down into the last couple of weeks, and as you can imagine it is all systems go, go, go in the lead up to the Highland Fling and Pearl iZUMi Bundy Run weekend on Saturday 12 – Sunday 13 November 2016.

Plus don’t forget for your mini shredders we’ve got the Kid’s Skills Course to help them hone their skills. This runs on Saturday 12th and is for kids between 5 – 12. Entry is $15 and it always sells out, so make sure you book now. Entry fees go to support the work of Save the Children.

Runners we are so excited to be welcoming you back soon. Just a couple of weeks ago we did a social recce run (thanks to those who joined us) and the course was looking spectacular!
The most important note for our runners is the slightly changed race start times (below):
Half Marathon 3:50pm
Quarter Marathon 3:55pm
The Teaser 4:00pm

A FEW OTHER THINGS TO THINK ABOUT…
Where are you staying? If you are headed to the Southern Highlands for the weekend and need accommodation, you can jump onto our website here as a starting point.
Plus we have plenty of camping at Ferndale Oval (which is also where the Highland Fling will start) about 2-minutes from the centre of town. Thanks for thinking about sustainability As most of you would know, we try to be as sustainable as possible during our events – and we encourage you to do the same. Here are our top two for you:
1. Bring your own water bottle. Bundanoon is a bottled water free town so you won’t be able to buy bottled water, but you can refill your bottle.
2. Bring a keep cup for your coffee too instead of using a takeaway one – we’re pretty passionate about this one, so when you give your own cup to our coffee van baristas you’ll receive a ticket to win a prize. Plus we’ll be handing out spot prizes for those of you we spot with your own cup!
