Entries have exceeded 90% for the All-In packages so if you know anyone thinking doing the race and wanting the all-in package, tell them to get in quick.
Course Update
We have some very good news on some course changes this year!
Stage 1 at Thredbo is now 12km long with most of the additional distance being lovely singletrack.
Stage 5 & 6 are now combined. This means we now have an 80km race stage from Perisher to Buckenderra. The extra 20km starts off on some quiet country roads and finishes on zippy bush tracks down into Buckenderra.

Event planning is well underway and we can’t wait for the first wheels to roll off down the mountain side at Thredbo on March 1. We hope your preparation is going well. We have heard that some people have been heading out on to the course for a bit of secret altitude training. This is a fantastic way to get to know what you are in for however we must remind you not to enter any private land.
We are soon to finalise the accommodation packages and ask that those of you who have booked an All In package log on to our website to check your bedding - twin or double - and sharing preferences (if you're nominating someone you want to share with). You can set your preferences in the “My Details” area; don’t forget to click “Next” and “OK” when you are satisfied with any changes.
Also of note is one of the race stage changes this year. We are going to combine stages 5 and 6 into one race stage of 80km! This means we will now be racing from Perisher all the way into Buckenderra. For simplicity’s sake, we will refer to that stage as “Stage 5 and 6”
Finally, we need a new Race Doctor for 2010 as Dr Rob can't make it this time. So if you're a qualified Doctor who is racing (and I know there are a few!) but is prepared to be on call for issues during the week (backing up our First Aid team) then we'll give you a free race entry. What happened to the BMC Mountains To Beach? Dirt Works, one of the main cycle industry wholesalers, have requested a change to the Headline Sponsor of the Mountains To Beach. So we're changing to DT Swiss. At least it's another Swiss brand!
