DT Swiss Mountains To Beach - Update 3 Feb
Hello All,
The 2010 DT Swiss Mountains To Beach - Less than 4 weeks to go………..
We’re recently returned from riding some of the stages. We enjoyed the extended Hayes Mountain Run (12km in 2010) in Thredbo as well as the trail for the Maxxis Muster at Lake Crackenback Resort which we’ve extended out into the neighbouring National Park. And get your Ay up’s ready for a new route around Buckenderra!
With a film crew with us for the week making an episode for the new Foxtel cycling show we expect you all to have your hair done for the race and your knicks clean (at least to start with!). Wear your free DT Swiss Mountains To Beach Osprey Hydraulics hydration pack with pride over your DT Swiss Mountains To Beach jersey and you’ll look the part!!
Time to update you with a few details.

Cruise Stages
Cruise stages are non-race stages which you can ride at your own pace, enjoying the scenery. These stages are not timed. To fit with our Traffic Management Plan approved by various government authorities, cruise stages may not be commenced before the start time given against that stage. Cut-off times do apply, so you will need to ensure you allow sufficient time to arrive by the cut-off. You will have to check in as you begin the stage and check out when you arrive at the end of the cruise stage. All riders must check in, ride, complete, and check out on every cruise stage to be eligible for a placing.
Rules & Conditions
There have been a few updates to the event Rules & Conditions in recent days. Please ensure you have read and understood these prior to the event. There will be gear checks at the event so please make sure you are carrying all the mandatory equipment on each stage.
