Event Packages

RACE ENTRY, ACOMMODATION & TRANSPORT PACKAGES

We’re offering a range of options for riders in the Mountains To Beach depending on your location and budget. Please see the section on Accommodation for sleeping options.

Race Entry Fee - $850

Race entry for all riders includes:

  • A professionally run, fun and challenging race
  • Welcome Dinner on Sun 4 March in Thredbo
  • Lunch on the Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Breakfast on the Wednesday
  • End of Race Dinner on evening of Fri 9 March
  • Mountains To Beach Towel and Range of goodies from our sponsors
  • A chance to win great prizes from the prize pool
  • A bloody great week away!

Package Outlines (per person)

A – All In Package - $1875 - (Race entry $850 - Accommodation package $1025)

Includes Race Entry (see details above), share accommodation*, dinner and breakfast from night of Saturday  3 Mar to morning of the following Saturday 10 Mar (with exception of dinner on Wed 7 Mar) and transport of one piece of baggage (bag to be a maximum of 80litres, 20kg, with dimensions of no more than 80cm x 35cm x 35cm) to the end of each day.
* accommodation is generally twin share but a couple of nights may be 3 or 4 share. You can nominate to share accommodation with another rider or your registered supporter. If you are not accompanied by another rider/supporter, we will allocate a room-mate for you.

B - Race Entry Package - $850

Includes Race Entry only (see details above). You would need to arrange to come with a support vehicle and driver who will transport your bike box/bag and your luggage each day. You are responsible for booking your own accommodation and your meals (host partners and communities will offer breakfast and dinner on some days). Please note that your Support Vehicle will not be able to follow the race route on many of the stages.

C - Supporters Package -$130

This is designed for those riders booking Package B who come to the event with one or more supporters using a vehicle. Includes Welcome Dinner on Sun 4 Mar in Thredbo, End of Race Dinner on Fri 9 March, Event T Shirt, Official Vehicle Sticker.

D - All in Supporters Package - $1025

This is designed for those riders booking Package A who come to the event with one or more supporters using a vehicle. It includes share accommodation from Sat 3 mar to Fri 9 Mar (generally twin share but a couple of nights may be 3 or 4 share. You can nominate to share accommodation with your rider), dinner and breakfast from night of Sat 3 Mar to morning of Saturday 10 March (with exception of dinner on Wed 7 March). Also includes Supporters Package of Welcome Dinner on Sun 4 Mar in Thredbo, End of Race Dinner on Fri 9 March, Event T Shirt, Official Vehicle Sticker.

Transport Packages

1 – Narooma-Thredbo - $95

Transport of you, your bike (which may be packed in a bike box or bag if you wish) and baggage from Narooma to Thredbo on Saturday 3 Mar, approx. 1pm departure from Narooma with approx 6pm arrival Thredbo. Your bike box or bag can either be disposed of in Thredbo or it will be taken from Thredbo to Narooma for you to take home with you after the event.  You will have about 1 hour to return your CLEARLY LABELED bike box or bag to the truck after arrival in Thredbo so it can be transported to back to Narooma.  Cars may be left in Narooma, however please note that Wild Horizons take no responsibility for the safety of your vehicle or any contents. (We are currently looking at a location closer to town to avoid the 5km ride to your vehicle post race as in previous years.  Details will come through in your updates - so please read them)

2 – Canberra-Thredbo - $95

Transport of you, your bike (in a bike box or bag) and baggage from Canberra to Thredbo on afternoon of Saturday 3 Mar, approx. 2pm departure from Canberra Airport. Your bike box or bag can either be disposed of in Thredbo or it will be taken from Thredbo to Narooma for you to take home with you after the event. You will have about 1 hour to return your CLEARLY LABELED bike box or bag to the truck after arrival in Thredbo so it can be transported to back to Narooma.  Pick up location in Canberra is Canberra Airport at the designated bus parking outside arrivals.

3 – Narooma-Canberra - $95

Transport of you, your bike (in a bike box or bag) and baggage from Narooma to Canberra on Saturday 10 Mar, approx. 10am departure and arriving in Canberra at approx. 2:30pm. Your bike box or bag will have been taken from Thredbo to Narooma for you. You will have about 1 hour to return your CLEARLY LABELED bike box or bag to the truck after arrival in Thredbo so it can be transported to back to Narooma. Arrival location in Canberra is Canberra Airport at the designated bus parking outside arrivals.

4 – Canberra-Thredbo and Narooma-Canberra Package - $150

A package deal when booking both Canberra to Thredbo Pre Event Bus and the Narooma to Canberra Post Event Bus.
