Entries in the 2013 CamelBak Highland Fling are not yet open.

Online Entry

You must have your own unique email address to register, therefore no two entrants can use the same email address. If you do not have an email address, please visit a webmail provider, e.g. Hotmail or Gmail to sign up for a free email address.

Entry is via our Event Management System, where you will first register for an account. You will then be able to login and enter the event.

Team Captains will enter all the team member details for a Flinging Threesomes team.

Once you have completed your entry, you can login again at any time to edit, transfer or cancel your entry.

Full Fling: $140
Half Fling: $110
Flinging Threesomes: $180 per team
100Mile Fling: $180
Casual Fling: $40
Bundanoon Dash: $10

Your entry fee includes a professionally organized event, contributions to local community and charitable causes, entertainment, a end-of-race meal, giveaways for every rider and a chance to take home some great prizes.

Insurance

Wild Horizons is covered by its own public liability insurance. You do not need to be a member of MTBA, Cycling Australia or have a day licence to compete in the event. You are responsible for your own Personal Injury Insurance and Ambulance Cover.

Personal Injury Insurance Wild Horizons are very pleased to offer Personal Injury cover to entrants in the CamelBak Highland Fling. You can take out cover costing $25 via the merchandise section of the entry form. A summary of the cover provided can be found here with full details here.

Cancellations, Changes or Transfer of Entries

Entry cancellations can be made up to 5pm on Friday 25 October when a refund (less 20% administration fee) will be made. Any cancellations after that date will not be considered for a refund. Should the event have to be cancelled for any reason and is unable to be rescheduled, entry fees are non-refundable. If the event is rescheduled and you are unable to attend your entry fee is non refundable.

Changes to entries (e.g. Half Fling to Full Fling or vice versa), including transfer of your entry to another person, may be made up until 3pm on Monday 4 November. Please note that no changes can be made to your entry details after this date and time.

Any rider changing their entry from a longer to a shorter distance (eg Full Fling to Half Fling; 100Mile Fling to Full Fling, etc.) will not be refunded the difference in entry fee. Please note: Entry fees for the Bundanoon Dash are non refundable. This is in part due to the fundraising nature of this race. Should you have to cancel your entry then please see your $10 as a contribution to some great community organizations.

To effect any cancellations, changes, or to transfer your entry to another person, you must first log into the Wild Horizons Event Management System by clicking on the Register tab above, then make the changes you wish within Manage My Entries. If an additional payment is required, you will be taken to a payment screen to enter your credit card details. If you are eligible for a partial refund, you should email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or call (02) 4883 6509 (during business hours) to provide your credit card details, THIS MUST BE THE SAME CREDIT CARD THAT YOU USED TO ENTER THE EVENT, as they are not kept on file.

Transferring Entries. Note that we do not keep a waiting list. If you wish to Cancel without forfeiting the 20% you need to self nominate another rider to take your place. You do this as follows. Go online, Register and Manage My Entries. There is a facility for you to transfer your entry by forwarding it to another person’s email. They are sent a message requiring them to go online and enter their new details. In such instances, Wild Horizons does not become involved in the money arrangements, leaving this to the two parties to resolve between themselves. The Final time for Transfers to take effect is 3pm on Monday 4 November.

If you don’t know anyone personally who wishes to take advantage of your cancellation you may find willing takers at the Wild Horizons facebook site or the online riders forum, Rotorburn, where there is a specific thread for the buying and selling of race entries is discussed.

Contacting one of these riders and following the process mentioned above will save you the loss of the 20% fee and gives someone the chance to ride in the race.

Waiver and Indemnity

All entrants must read the waiver and indemnity in detail. By taking part in this event, you agree to accept the terms totally and without question.
