2007 was the 11th running of the Polaris Challenge,
Australia's first mass participation endurance mountain biking event.

 

End of an Era

After 11 years, 11 Polaris Challenges, 8 Urban Polaris and 4 Paddle Polaris, the curtain came down on the 2007 Urban Polaris as the final Polaris event we ran. I love these events with a passion but sometimes loves and passions are better left behind when still on a high. Life is about passions and not doing things mechanically so it’s time to move on to new challenges; some known, some unknown.

We’ve left some info about the Polaris events up on the website for now so people can relive their Polaris experiences over the past decade or more.
