RACE ENTRY & TRANSPORT PACKAGES
We’re offering a range of options for riders in the BMC Mountains To Beach depending on your location and budget. Please see the section on Accommodation for sleeping options.
Race Entry Fee
Race entry for all riders includes:
- A professionally run, fun and challenging race
- Welcome Dinner on Sun 1 March in Thredbo
- Lunch on the Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Breakfast on the Wednesday
- End of Race Party on evening of Fri 6 March
- BMC MTB board shorts for that first swim in the surf!
- A pair of Special Edition BMC MTB socks.
- Range of goodies from our sponsors
- A chance to win great prizes from the prize pool
- A bloody great week away!
Package Outlines (per person)
A – All In Package
Includes Race Entry (see details above), Twin Share accommodation (You can nominate to share accommodation with another rider or your supporter providing they have entered), dinner and breakfast from night of Saturday to morning of the following Saturday (with exception of dinner on Wednesday 4 March) and transport of one piece of baggage (bag to be a maximum of 80litres, 20kg, with dimensions of no more than 80cm x 35cm x 35cm) to the end of each day.
B - Race Entry Package
Includes Race Entry only (see details above). You would need to arrange to come with a support vehicle and driver who will transport your bike box/bag and your luggage each day. You are responsible for booking your own accommodation (see accommodation link for info) and your meals (host partners and communities will offer breakfast and dinner on some days). Please note that your Support Vehicle will not be able to follow the race route on many of the stages.
C - Baggage Transport Package
Includes transport of one piece of baggage (bag to be a maximum of 80litres, 20kg, with dimensions of no more than 80cm x 35cm x 35cm) to the end of each day.
D - Supporters Package
This is designed for those riders booking Package B who come to the event with one or more supporters using a vehicle. Includes BMC shorts, Welcome Dinner on Sun 1 March in Thredbo, End of Race Party on Fri 6 March, Official Supporter Vehicle Sticker, Supporter Notes (on route etc)
E - All in Supporters Package
This is designed for those riders booking Package A who come to the event with one or more supporters using a vehicle. It includes Twin Share accommodation, dinner and breakfast from night of Saturday 28 February to morning of Saturday 7 March (with exception of dinner on Wednesday 4 March). You can nominate to share accommodation with your rider. Also includes Supporters Package of BMC shorts, Welcome Dinner on Sun 1 March in Thredbo, End of Race Party on Fri 6 March, Official Supporter Vehicle Sticker, Supporter Notes (on route etc)
Transport Packages
1 – Narooma-Thredbo
Transport of you, your bike and baggage from Narooma to Thredbo on Saturday 7 March, approx. 10am departure. approx 3pm arrival Thredbo.
2 – Canberra-Thredbo, Narooma-Canberra
Transport of you, your bike (in a bike box or bag) and baggage from Canberra to Thredbo on afternoon of Saturday 28 Feb, approx. 2pm departure. Transport of you, your bike (in a bike box or bag) and baggage from Narooma to Canberra on Saturday 7 March, approx. 10am departure and arriving in Canberra at approx. 2:30pm. Your bike box or bag will have been taken from Thredbo to Narooma for you. Pick up location in Canberra is Canberra Airport at the designated bus parking behind the taxi rank.

3 – Narooma-Thredbo Pre-Race
Due to popular demand, we have added an extra transport package. Transport of you, your bike and baggage from Narooma to Thredbo on Saturday 28 February, approx. 1pm departure from Narooma with approx 6pm arrival Thredbo. Please note that neither Wild Horizons nor Island View Resort take any responsibility for the safety of your vehicle or any contents.
