Wild Horizons

Established in 1992 and based in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales, Wild Horizons is one of Australia’s longest established and most experienced promoters of mass participation adventure events.

Over the past twenty years, we estimate we’ve run well over 60 major events. In fact, Wild Horizons were the pioneers of endurance mountain bike events in Australia starting in 1997.

Our events have included the Polaris Challenge, Urban Polaris and Paddle Polaris; the spectacular week long Mountains To Beach stage race from the slopes of Australia’s highest mountain to the surf beaches of the NSW South Coast, the iconic Highland Fling MTB Marathon and the seriously fun 3 Ring Circus.

In 2015 Wild Horizons launched two new events. The Rock&Road was a unique race designed for both mountain bikers and road cyclists; while the Bundy Run entices trail runners to discover the natural wonders of the Morton National Park.

As well as race events other Wild Horizons activities include tours, skills clinics and bespoke corporate events.

All Wild Horizons events are renowned for being professionally organized, fun and with a real community involvement.

Wild Horizons also continue to chase the holy grail of delivering events in an environmentally responsible manner.

These credentials, together with over 25 years running Australian and international adventure tours provide the foundation, the experience and the expertise that Wild Horizons bring to delivering events.

Wild Horizons was founded by Huw Kingston; a well known and multi award winning adventurer, environmentalist, writer and speaker.
